How? The Feminists that run the state department make it so complicated that it is Impossible. Rules are that you MUST visit a girl in her country (and get pictures) before any attempt is made for her immigration. They also even demand that the American get a Police Report of themselves to submit it to them, plus reams of interrogations.
That is NOT a mail order Bride. You can't just send her ticket money and expect for her to land at the local airport. You also MUST marry, or she goes back. You can't just live happily as BF, GF.
It's government sticking it's nose into the citizens freedom.

ETA. Maybe it varies by country. My only experience is with trying to marry Russian/Ukrainian woman.

Bureaucracy is the problem. Do lesbians that want to get married have the same requirements? If not sue for discrimination.
