In his poem Human Pride, Marx admits that his aim is not to improve the world, reform or revolutionize it, but simply to ruin it and enjoy it being ruined: With disdain I will throw my gauntlet full in the face of the world, And see the collapse of this pygmy giant whose fall will not stifle my ardor. Then will I wander godlike and victorious through the ruins of the world And, giving my words an active force, I will feel equal to the Creator. “Looking for consciousness in the brain is like looking in the radio for the announcer.” – Nasseim Haramein, Director of Research for the Resonance Project |

Coyotes especially will keep their distance from humans. Are usually “opportunistic” hunters. Looking for garbage and things left around. Wolves might be more aggressive. Especially if it’s a lone wolf, shunned from the pack (it happens frequently), and hungry. But a lone wolf wouldn’t attempt to take down a large target (like a child its own size), and would more likely hunt for birds or mice or other small animals. |

Wild predators are going to do what wild predators do. Us as human beings just have to be well aware of where we are making our home and what predators are around the area. Best thing to do when living in a area where coyotes roam is to have a dog that will rip a coyote to pieces. I prefer a Pitt. Pitts often have run ins with coyotes in California and literally rip them to pieces. Even if there is a pack of coyotes, a Pitt will rip them all to pieces. Rebel55 |

There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84778475 I was gonna make the same comment, but it was effective enough. I grew up in WH in the 60s and we never saw or heard coyotes. I knew someone who lived in the Hollywood hills and she heard them every night. |

They need to let people shoot them on site. I forgot to mention in my post above, when I lived in WH there were probably enough people with rifles to make them disappear without fear of being turned in to the cops. |
