No, it's legitimately theft. I've seen some of there stores shrink numbers for my region and it's not sustainable by any means. Shrink has increased 100 fold over the past 2-3 years and with profit margins being what they are things were bound to come to a head eventually.
It's not just Walmart, it's all major retailers with open doors to the public.

It's because if theft dip shit. They have already closed some. They are always in "diverse" neighborhoods. Then people bitch because they can't get food.

Walmart just paid $3.3 billion in legal settlements in 1 quarter this year.

And then spent $20 bill8on on a stock buyback.
