The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to conduct a special military operation.

According to confirmed information, as a result of a ground-based precision-guided attack on a rocket and artillery weapons depot in one of the shops of the ArcelorMittal steel plant in Kryvyi Rih, over 70 HIMARS multiple rocket launchers and two MLRS rocket launchers were destroyed. Another four launchers of this type sustained critical damage.

In the Red-Liman direction, Russian troops continue their offensive, during which they took more advantageous lines and positions. Russian artillery fire and assault and army aviation strikes destroyed over 130 Ukrainian servicemen, two infantry fighting vehicles and a vehicle during the day.

On the Kupyansk direction, pre-emptive artillery fire, air strikes and heavy flamethrower systems against accumulations of Ukrainian troops in the areas of Olshana, Kislovka, Berestovoye in Kharkiv Region and Novoselovskoye in Luhansk People's Republic prevented the enemy from attacking the Russian troops' positions. Up to 70 Ukrainian servicemen, an infantry fighting vehicle, a MT-LB, two 2S-1 Gvozdika self-propelled artillery units and three vehicles were destroyed.

In the Donetsk direction, the attempts of the Ukrainian armed forces to counterattack in the areas of Pershe Travnya, Kurdyumovka, Kleshcheevka and Maiorsk of the Donetsk People's Republic were thwarted. During the day more than 40 Ukrainian servicemen, three armored combat vehicles and a pickup truck were destroyed in this direction.



In the South Donetsk direction, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to regain lost ground in the areas of Novomayorske, Vladimirovka and Novopolsk of the Donetsk People's Republic. With artillery fire and decisive actions of Russian troops, the AFU units were pushed back to their initial positions. The losses of the enemy in this direction amounted to up to 100 Ukrainian soldiers killed and wounded, two infantry fighting vehicles, an armored personnel carrier and four vehicles.

Operational and army aviation, rocket forces and artillery hit 79 artillery units in firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 183 areas.

A temporary deployment point of a foreign mercenary unit was hit near the settlement of Borovskoye, Kharkiv Oblast.

Two U.S.-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar stations were destroyed near Stupochki settlements of Donetsk People's Republic and Zelenyi Gai settlements of Kharkiv region.



As a result of the strike on the AFU equipment recovery point near Malotaranovka settlement of Donetsk People's Republic, a HIMARS multiple rocket launcher and 48 rocket launchers for it were destroyed.

Near the village of Barvenkovo, Kharkiv region, a radar station of the S-300 surface-to-air missile system was destroyed.

Near the locality of Orekhov, Zaporizhzhya region, a warehouse of missile and artillery weapons of the AFU was destroyed.

The Russian Air Force fighter aircraft near Artemivka, Donetsk People's Republic, shot down an Su-24 airplane of the Ukrainian air force.



Four unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by anti-aircraft defense assets in the areas of Poltava, Novovodynoye, Novokrasnyanka of Luhansk People's Republic and Ambarnoye of Kharkiv region during the day. In addition, four multiple-launch rocket systems HIMARS, Olkha and Uragan were intercepted near the settlements of Olkhovatka in the Kharkiv region, Pervomaisk, Frunze in the Lugansk People's Republic and Volnovakha in the Donetsk People's Republic.

A total of 341 aircraft, 180 helicopters, 2,638 unmanned aerial vehicles, 392 surface-to-air missile systems, 7,020 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 913 multiple rocket launcher combat vehicles, 3,664 field artillery and mortar guns, and 7,498 units of special military vehicle equipment have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces covered their own company tactical group with artillery fire during an attempted offensive in the Svatove sector of the front in Donbass. This was reported by LNR military officer Andriy Marochko, citing intelligence data.
"During another attempt by Ukrainian armed formations to break through our defense line in the Svatovsk direction, an enemy company-tactical group, reinforced with additional forces and means, entered the range of its own artillery," he told RIA Novosti.

This could have happened because of a lack of coordination with artillery units or because of communication problems, the officer said.

"The commander of the assaulting unit practically put the personnel under attack by Ukrainian troops," Marochko said.
