my father was on the brink of death home. We thought he could ride it out but when he stopped eating for days and could not even move i rushed him to the hospital. He died 2 days later in the hospital. Our mistake was not taking him to the hospital sooner. they could have saved him. But he was stubborn and thought his body would eventually heal. Big mistake. he died at 83 yrs old
