WTH I’ve lost the ability to unlock my iPhone by using my facial recognition feature. I’ve been an iPhone user for nearly 10years and am fully aware it’s got backdoor access for most of China. I have been wanting to rid myself of this garbage as of late. Two days ago this same thing happened to my wife’s iPhone again another longtime user. Never have I had to reinitialize the feature before now. Had anyone in GLP had this occur recently to them as well? Now more than ever it’s time to get back to the brick basics, possibly a bag phone.

Like I’ve said it’s just strange that these devices are asking me to do this again when I know it’s something nefarious to it. I hate iPhone and have for a while but always seem to put off downgrading back to a flip phone. I have a Buisness phone I use mostly so why all of a sudden this.

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83701776 Both the wife and myself stopped all updates around the beginning of the plandemic. I wasn’t comfortable with what type of tracking firmware might be downloaded. I thought that’s a possibility. I know a lot of people who stopped all updates because of the contact tracing crap. I thought maybe this was something other people might be getting. It’s just a curiosity. I’ve never posted before. Just wanted to see who might have had this problem.
