Just because an obnoxious parent asks something, the doctor doesn’t have to comply. They can do what they know to be best for the patient. No jury will find for the parents. It’s only a tiny fringe of nut jobs have all this vax paranoia. I have an idea, if the anti establishment parents don’t like the system, they can do the heart surgery at home. I’m sorry they lost a child but clotting had a ALWAYS happened with a certain fraction of transfusions. I don't have a JD, but almost ..... as a paralegal I have worked in the legal field all my life, so I have lots of experience and knowledge. The hospital does NOT have final say over a parent's dependant child. why else do we have health poa's? living wills? So that loved ones can make the decisions on behalf of the one who is unable to.
