This is a weird one to say the least.

No one saw the mental ilness train screaming down the tunnel?

In the linked piece, there is exactly zero information on the how/why aspect of this incident. That alone tells me the circumstances are suspicious and the Department which employed these cops doesn't want the public to know what actually happened.

Whatcha wanna bet this woman just wanted to be left alone and those two "our finest officers’" wouldn't stop harassing her.

They probably started by demanding I.D., which she had a right to refuse. Then they probably initiated force against her for being "un-cooperative". They probably threatened to taser her. Mind you, this was against a woman who had committed no crime.

I have little doubt she decided to defend herself and her daughter from thuggery.

But, I wasn't there.

We should all just give Carte Blanche to cops and assume that what ever it was that they did, it had to have been the right thing to do, because it was the cops what dunnit... Right?

The cops who initiated contact and harassment are lauded as "Heroes", while the victim they harassed is referred to as a "disturbed woman".

Shouldn't we all just go prostrate and submit every time we come within six feet of a State employee in a Super-Hero costume? When he's done with us, we can always beg permission to resume our lives.

None of this adds up, i suspect those cops were crooked or threatening to take her child

Does body armor not work anymore or did she pull off two head shots while they shot back at her?

If you are going to shoot someone, why on earth would you aim for the body armor?

Yes she called them for help and their way of helping was they wanted to take her 8 year old.

At some point, Child Protective Services was contacted due to "concerns for the safety of the minor child," the release states.

Anderson then told officers that she and her daughter planned to leave the motel and started to load up her vehicle.

Investigators said Anderson was seated in the driver's seat when she shot Robin, who was standing just outside the vehicle. He died at the scene.

Estorffe then exchanged shots with Anderson.

Investigators said Anderson was hit in the chest and died at the scene. Estorffe was taken to Memorial Hospital, where he died.
