History Legends does perhaps the most in depth breakdown on the subject Ive seen. If your too hard a fan boy either way and actually buy MOD numbers you probably wont be happy with the breakdown.

Figures he comes up with ~16k KIA for Russia ~65k Ukraine.


Just a little bit of a difference from those 100k Russians KIA figure were seeing posted on the site and claimed from the Ukrainian MOD

History Legends is pretty middle of the road, good source of info.

By the way I can already feel some will get 1 minute into the video and say OMG hes a Russian propagandist for these figures! I will say the main source he uses for the Russian figures is a Russian language anti Kremlin investigative newspaper based out of Estonia funded by the BBC sooooooooo.... there you go.


Estimates for wounded, note some are double or triple count if person returned to the front after recovery:
Russia 55k
Ukraine 400k
