But modern people THINK they are "so sophisticated" and that anything involving the spiritual realm is just "silly superstition".

The ancients were actually far smarter than people are today. People today may SEEM smarter, but that is simply because of the inventions like the printing press, etc... which enabled the average person to have access to extensive literature.

People today have the last 6,000 years of ACCUMULATED knowledge at their fingertips, but that does equate to WISDOM and INTELLIGENCE.

People today are a mere SHELL of the original parents of the human race. People today are a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy...

And well... You get the point.

People are not "evolving". People are DEvolving. And each successive generation away from the original, is more and more riddled with faults and imperfections.

But the fact is, the demonic realm is JUST as real as the physical realm. And the REAL rulers behind the scenes are NOT "human", but are DEMONIC.

The humans that rule the physical realm, are in contact with these demonic entities which are what give them their power and influence.

Remember how Satan himself offered Christ all the kingdoms of the world, if Christ would only bow down to him. And although Christ rebuked him with the world of God, your average greedy and self HUMAN being will gladly bow down, if it means that Satan will reward them with wealth and power.

The devil has deceived these fools into believing that they will have immortality through an artificial means, but nothing could be further from the truth. It's like the Indiana Jones "Last Crusade" movie, where the power-hungry guy drinks from the jewel-encrusted cup, thinking it will give him eternal life.

But the REAL "cup of Christ" was a very bland and drab looking ordinary cup. Just as the poor will inherit eternal life, while it would be easier for a camel to travel through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

Remember, Christ said that anyone who tries to enter the (sheep) fold (kingdom of God) by any means other than the door (Him), is a thief and a robber.

In regards to who is behind the scenes and are the REAL rulers of this age, the apostle Paul nailed it when he said this, in Ephesians:

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Ephesians 6:12
