It's interesting that Christmas has come full circle. It used to pagan Winter Solstice and then Christmas got super imposed on it and then evolved after being banned from celebrating after 200 years in England (Puritans hated fun and mirth more than fruitcake). Early Victorians literally reinvented modern Christmas and 90% of what we do now came from that charming era. TV and movies of the last 100 years pushed it for commercialism. But it's now back to weather elves and magic. Just how it started. Back when I was Wiccan for about a decade I went to a winter festival. It was really something. I stopped all that because too lazy and went more towards Neville Goddard and stuff.
