Have you ever wondered "why did I do to deserve this", when something bad happens?!

Naw man. Shit happens to everyone from time to time. Thus is life. Shrug and carry on.

Be nice to people so they don’t curse you and send bad vibes your way that causes bad luck to happen.

I think it is because of the secret feelings of white supremacy that i have inside even though i try to be a good liberal democrat.

Whenever something bad happens to me i think it is because i dont try hard enough to hate white christian society.

We speak of reincarnation and the law of karma. One can tell oneself: I don't believe in reincarnation, but I can assume that it exists. I'll act as if my assumption is true and wait to see what comes of it.

Story of my life.

I think it comes from religions. It comes from the "you reap what you sow" or "Karma" or "eye for an eye"....they all have these real world punishments for past behavior...so it seems logical that when calamity hits that folks would search themselves for what deed they did or omitted to produce this outcome.

When the proper question would more clearly be, "What deed or omission caused me to mistakenly arrive here?"

It's easier if someone said, "My car ran out of oil and ruined the engine...what did I do to deserve this?"

It's not a matter of deserving. It's a matter of faulty logic. And in this case, the reason was this person omitted checking the oil and replacing it as needed.

Your faulty logic can also be that you erroneously believed that someone or some entity decided your fate. If one in a million gets your type of cancer, how do you explain you cannot be that one in a million? Someone has to be that one. It can be you.

If you buy a lottery ticket that one in a million wins a huge prize, would you be as deserving if you were that one in the million that won? How do you explain (if you bought the ticket) that you cannot be the one in a million? Someone has to be that one. It can be you.

Deserving from gods, God, fate has nothing to do with it. The permutations! come from possible outcomes. Your outcome can come from the high number of people who ruin their engines because of neglected oil OR it can come simply because you have the human "ticket" and can get the bad news that you are the one in a million that has this cancer.

Why you? You hold a human ticket. You didn't get it by deserving any more than the person who won a one in a million prize by also having a ticket.

money is the only blessing that matters.
