Amazing how some people have no concept of what it takes to purchase and maintain rental housing and apartment buildings. Because that have no idea how much work it takes, they assume it’s like flicking a light switch for electricity, which they also have no concept how difficult it is to provide.

Is the garage on the lease? Take her to small claims court. Is it not on the lease? Then she didn't make a binding promise. All real estate contracts are in writing.

No hot water,stove doesn't work,porch falling in,faulty outlets and they just say if you don't like it move out,good luck finding another place. Says they are gonna fix it up nice after I'm gone. Don't like it leave. It's been a similar scenario in 3 different counties in TN. All the same type blaming everything on what their previous renters did. They know housing is so hard to get now they can do what they want.

I haven’t been able to work in 2 yrs due to spinal and leg injuries and I STILL paid my rent every month . My Landlords will not fix anything at all here.
House so cold it won’t get above 58 degrees and there is no heat in the upstairs so you can see your breath.
