Russian forces have a massive artillery advantage, everyone acknowledges that.
99% of troops getting killed are by artillery.
So RF is killing way more Ukrainians because they have the advantage. That is basic logic even for people like you.
Guess what the ground freezing means?
Artillery becomes much more lethal on frozen ground. This is a fact known for hundreds of years.
Will Russia launch an offensive? Beats me. I would just slow roll and wait for my artillery superiority to become even more lethal.
Also, the colder it gets the harder it is to hide from thermal imaging and the more important reliable supply lines become. Literally life and death to get what you need to keep from freezing.
