Part of the reason Russia is so quick to say it will target the Patriot system our lunatic government is sending to Ukraine is because it's not just a defensive weapon system.

Basically just a software upgrade makes it capable of launching missiles at ground based targets.

They don't mention that because they don't want you to know just how far over the red line we are stepping.


Putting a Patriot missile system in Ukraine means putting a long range weapons system capable of launching attacks on ground based targets.

I don't think we have to worry about Russia nuking us. We go to "war" every 5-10 years. As i said before soon as Russia starts to win we will pull back. By then all the "support" for war will be over as all the contracts for new equipment have been signed.

Many years ago CNN was talking none-stop about those "bunker buster" munition in Iraq. I was about 100% sure the USA did not have any. In fact CNN kept talking and talking and talking.

I think there are too many wildcards to guess when this will end. I agree that by summer of next year, Ukraine will be done as a traditional military force.

Will it morph into fighting the Poles? In a way, that would be good for Russia. Would be all the more reason to take from Odessa straight up to Kiev. Cuts the land border that needs to be defended by 2/3.

Fighting the Poles is a good way to get Ukrainians in line with Russians again as well. Ukes don't like Poles.

Wonder how far NATO is going to push the situation in Serbia. Serbia is landlocked and surrounded by NATO, so it doesn't look good for them.

But, the good of that is Romania would also have conflict on both eastern and western fronts which would likely reduce their affect on both. Odessa cannot be reliably held with Romanian wild card. Yet it seems NATO itself may be blundering in to improve that situation unintentionally.

I'm sure Serbia is being done as an excuse to put Romania on war footing and they think they are very crafty for that but it's not going to have the effect they are hoping for.
