The circles are concentric, and that would require a trajectory directly heading for the centroid of the Earth, which in turn would require such a mass that there would have been much more surface deformity, if not a near ELE. Objects coming in at any other angle to the atmosphere are glancing blows which make eliptical or linear impact effects on the surface. |
