I personally know some long time Jehovah's Witnesses that said they will receive a chip implant if mandatory by the government to buy and sell, because the Watchtower teaches them that is not the mark. Yes, they teach that the Mark of The Beast is only symbolic. They also teach that the buying and selling means public holidays such as Christmas and Easter (crazy right?). And by their reckoning the Mark is already here and has been for years. In one of their publications (Red Revelation book) they briefly mention that the mark could have been a literal political card that some remote African countries were requiring at the time. Because of their beliefs, if it becomes compulsory to get some type of literal Mark (e.g. microchip, tattoo ... etc) in order to buy or sell, the Jehovah's Witnesses will all line up to get it. They'll probably be the first group to accept it wholeheartedly. Their leaders will instruct the members to get it.
