Lake Mead has gained two feet in the last month!

Lake Mead has started to refill again.

It's up nearly two feet from Dec. 1 to Jan. 1. The gains have been faster than the previous two years.

The lake went down while I was focused on hurricanes in the Gulf. Was able to speed up Hurricane Ian's crossing of Florida from the expected 4-5 days to 1 day! Untold billions in property damage was prevented as well as saving countless lives of hurricane-induced homeless people trying to escape a situation like they had in the Bahamas from Hurricane Dorian when it sat on top of the islands for 36 hours.
