Wow- I wonder if that’s why I’ve been feeling like shit ever since I looked at Midjourney pictures. Those images were so godless. Soulless. And I’ve been feeling more hopeless.

I get that vibe from it too. Other people are like super impressed and I’m like this is off. And the weird symbols and shit presented in a certain way I think could have the potential for the AI to be fucking with all our minds.

User is in control. Weird simbols is just lack of parameters. Midjourney uses Stable Diffusion, with around 800mil parameters.

You get legible text around 20mil, which google has but requires a datacenter to load and run, instead of just consumer gpu.

No quantum computer is necessary, you can do it on a 1000usd laptop from costco.

They know how it works, they designed math for it and improved it over time to make coherent images.

There is no "another dimension", it learned all the images on the internet and remixes them in its artificial brain based on text labels associated with blocks of pixel information.

Even when ai writes words it can creep me out a little. It’s just the way it writes. By the words a person or machine uses; you can usually judge their character a bit.
