True story here, at my job at a retailer years and years ago. This drugged up bimbo on uppers or whatever was flirting with me, so I ignored her (I just hate high society white women), so she threw a tantrum by knocking stuff off a shelf and storming out.

My husband took me out to lunch today because he wanted to. We went to the grocery store and I watched all the men buying flowers and stuff. Neither my husband nor I had said a peep to one another about Valentine's day. I somehow knew he didn't realize it was today in spite of all that was going on at the store. Anyway, I wanted to ask the men if they wanted to be buying that crap or if they felt obligated to, but I refrained. When my husband and I were home later, he goes, oh crap, it's Valentine's day. I mentioned all the ongoings at the store and he said he just didn't think it was today. Just fine by me. I don't need flowers or candy or jewelry. Just a scam. $45 for a dozen roses?!?!? And I'm guessing that's probably a good price these days.

Did not watch it but today, I saw these two young men looking at a grocery store "bouquet" of roses that used to be $15.99. Suckers were 44.99. I might have gotten them in trouble cause my 62yo opinion was, if my BF spent 44.00 on those, I would punch him in the jaw! I can think of a thousand more useful ways to spend $44. Like a tank of gas, lol!
