TORNADO OUTBREAK II
I'll come back for this event, because this one is a dangerous one.

Reflecting the fact is if you are East of Virginia, South of Chicago, North of the Gulf, and East of Western TX, you better watch the hell out over the next few days.

My numbers reach April 1974 Tornado Outbreak Status.

This is your final warning..

You think Super Tuesday looked bad?

Think again. All of TN is in deep.

Later

West of Virginia. I tend to do that because It's EAST of me.

Those areas are just terrible. Once in maybe 30+ year event coming. Anyone remember April 1974 will remember this.

Arkansas yes. Thursday. We have chasers starting in Little Rock on Thursday and going East into Friday.

Dan, nah, just been busy lately. I wasn't even visiting here for a bit. This outbreak potential had me coming back because some depended on it and I couldn't let those that did down.

Damn. I just set out 50 tomatoes and peppers. Leading edge of rain++ is already touching W. TN. It's going to get much worse??? Looks like "eye" is heading NE instead of just E. Will this cause "training" of storms for now thru Thursday? Just what we need here. Already flooded out. HELP !!!!!!

No, this isn't the storm that will give you the tornadoes. The storm that will give you the tornadoes will be a new low pressure center that is currently on the West Coast.

Well, at least the tornado shelter's finished and the generator's gassed up. Last strong system hit here with 95 MPH straight-line winds!!!! Casinos, car washes and gas stations were damaged badly.

Re: TORNADO OUTBREAK II
During an event like this especially, I'll be around. I'll have about 5 chasers out there through the entire event. They will get the word to your local NWS office immediately so you know what is coming. I'll be here the entire time as well, day and night, with lots and lots of coffee might I add.

Tornado Labs is closed because of major hardware damage, and It will take a week to get it done again so I might not be able to get outlined models like before. I'll do what I can but keep the eye out if in these areas.

Memphis is under that gun again this time with this one.

Well, anyone could fake Kevin Martin, unless someone checked your user number.

I was saying that you made a mistake calling it East of Virginia because it is east of your position.

The "real" Kevin Martin is in Toronto, right? That would either make this an honest mistake, or some of the finest bait ever laid down in the halls of GLP.

As far as bait goes, your going to have to do some fine strategic planning to beat "Inter-galactic tsunami".

That is by far the finest bait I have ever seen on GLP.

Austin and Bastrop, TX, your event is tomorrow, into tomorrow night. I'll be back of course by morning with the possible event areas, however the Southern end can be a danger section.

Dallas-Fort-Worth is in the target 100% zone it looks like though.

Re: TORNADO OUTBREAK II
Yes, you see here it was is going to happen.

Over the night tonight, a low will move across California. This will be met with a low dropping out of Washington to Arizona. Where they meet will dip the jet stream down, in the classic trough "U" shape pattern. On the Eastern side of these trough or U patterns is the tornadic environment where the fast jet stream exists. With the surface low developing in this storm West TX tomorrow night, moving East to destroy many areas East of there into the Ohio River Valley. ALl said and done, if it all goes right, many tornadoes will have touched down before Saturday as the system responsible exits the USA.

Also we have a poster on GLP that lives in New Mexico. Posts when wind is in the area. Means tornadic East of there. This poster will feel this tonight, signaling the storms arrival.

Lets not forget that the powerful nature of this surface low could bring over a foot of snow to Omaha areas later week.

KEVIN:
Thanks. I'm in the DFW area. I know we've got a forecast for late night thunderstorms for tonite, and more tomorrow (some possibly severe tomorrow afternoon), but are we about to get popped like they did in TN?

I wish to hell I had a shelter. That damned interior bathroom stuff just is NOT reassuring. Last week, I was in there sitting on the floor with the three dogs, and it was crowded. LOL!
