I watched a sick kid because her mom was sick and needed rest.
The kid has bit of sore throat and gallons of snot coming out. Sometimes clear and sometimes yellow.
After the kid left, the next day my throat hurt but not too bad. Then the snots came.
Then the cough. Feeling tired but not really a true fever.
Low level fever that came and went.
Then the breathlessness.
Its hard to do daily chores because you just can't fill your lungs.

XBB is old as all heck it got out in like September and is the first recombinant variant escaped. it has parts of omicron and original strain and got out of the lab that tried to see if it was possible to make a dangerous variant(since all variants incl delta are weaker than orig strain just more contagious), which was reported on multiple times in October about the recombining the variants, XBB goes up to 4.1, the X classed variants on GISAID cannot happen outside of the lab (x class is mutations of strains that do not exist in the wild anymore) and is an experimental variant just like flu A or B all covid codes dont start with X unless manufactured in lab.

Antibiotic will do NOTHING for a virus. But it will treat bacterial pneumonia which may present after some period of viral lung infection.

Everyone should be taking a spoonful of Elderberry syrup every couple days during this time which is the peak viral infection season. (and go for a short daily walk outside weather permitting).

sounds like you got an earlier strain of covid. viruses dont typically mutate into something stronger. they get more infectious and weaker, so as to NOT kill the host. your symptoms are basically what i had for an earlier strain of covid.
