hearing low, rumbling sounds for a week now
I have to ask if anyone else is hearing very low rumbling sounds lasting for a couple seconds to about a minute? I live in the midwest and for about a week this has been happening, it is not air traffic, no trains nearby either.

Yes, for the last couple of days. Like a line of thunder that rolls for miles and miles. About 10 days ago, I heard two distinct "Bam's" that I associate with earthquakes, but nothing shook.

Re: hearing low, rumbling sounds for a week now
Yes! I live in the east central part of Ohio and I too have noticed this. At first I thought it was a car stereo but my animals act wierd too when this happens. They don't act wierd when a loud car stereo goes by. My 9 yr. old son said something about the rumble he heard 2 nights ago around 9:00 PM. I thought it might have to do with mining but as far as I know there is no active underground mining in my area right now. All I know is I have lived in this same house for almost 10 yrs. and never heard this before the last month. I posted something about this on another thread about 3 weeks ago. The guy that started that thread was from Wisconsin I think.

Been going on here for several weeks. I notice it mostly in the early morning while laying in bed.

Sounds like a low-pitched diggerie-doo that pulses every couple of seconds. Weird. Never heard anything like it before.

Re: hearing low, rumbling sounds for a week now
I have the day off today so I've been able to pay more attention to this "rumble" and I have to say it has died off since this morning. We heard it yesterday in the evening maybe ten or 15 times and again this morning, it actually woke me up around 5:30 am today. Thanks for your responses people, really interesting we are hearing it all over the place.

I heard something strange just as I was coming back from lunch. Much like the other fella said about it sounding like a car stereo....I heard distinct low frequency pulses two separate times during the drive. I too, thought it was a stereo behind me, so I took a snapshot of the only car that was behind me in my mind.

Minutes later, on a completely different street WITH NO CARS BEHIND ME, I heard the exact same frequency and pulse of sound. 4 pulses around the 50- 75 hrtz range.

How strange... I live in Michigan, and I've been hearing it too. I've stayed up late quite a few nights writing papers, and I've been hearing a low rumbling sound during that time a lot lately. I always think it's like quiet thunder, so I go outside to see, but it's been pretty clear. Other than this morning, when there was a 5 minute storm. Very strange.

I haven't heard any rumbles, but I have the ringing in my ears that will change pitch or intensity during various parts of the day.

Exactly, it's not like it trails off like a plane moving closer than away, it's a constant rumble that starts and stops around the same frequency, it's really odd. Last night I heard several short bursts, than a few longer bursts with a couple minute breaks in between. I'll start watching for a pattern I guess if I hear it again.

Yeah I get the ringing in the ears a bunch too. Its like I'll be hearing all the background noises (a/c systems, fridges, etc.) and then its like a switch is turned on and the background noises are replaced with a sound much like that of the familiar turning on night vision sound. Do I make sense?

I can still hear normal conversation and stuff but this phenomenon always throws me and make me try to clear my ears or shake it out....

My left ear was ringing and I felt nauseous every morning--for about two months, then we had an earthquake here Newport Beach, Ca about two weeks ago....I was literally right under the epicentre...next morning my ear ache was gone and so was my nausea.

Weird.

Interesting stuff. I have also felt nauseous for the last 2 days. 4 days ago, the region I live in was bombarded with chemtrails too.
