Stolen History: Tartaric Crypts & Mud-flood Catacombs

I live in Seattle, grew up here and have been to Underground Seattle many times. My mother worked in a building for 20yrs that had a door in the basement to the direct underground tunnels. We used to tour there for school field trips too. It always made me skeptical about the lifting up of the city because of a huge fire that cleared out the pioneer sq-belltown area. I mean that is a HUGE underground area now. When you walk above on the main st, there are windows/ purple glass panels in the concrete that when you walk in the underground it shows above like a skylight and people on the main street are walking above you.There are miles blocked off. WTF and recently i heard they closed down the tours so no one can go down there. Never made sense.
