We played jarts as kids, probably 10 or 11 years old, no adult supervision. I recall our father once or twice going over some simple common sense safety rules. Never got stuck with a dart ever.

I remember the rock fights.

My dukes of hazard big wheel was the shit.
I wore the tires out till they had holes in them.
Then got bigger and got the sigma bike everyone wanted with the solid hub cap things that made it look spaceshippy.

I was about 8, staying with my grandparents in ocean pines MD, my pops bought me a Purdue Cookin good bike, it was bad ass! Until it got runt over.

Today they play butt darts

Put two skateboards beside each other each of us sitting on one with our feet on the other, grab hands and go down huge hill with a turn u had to get just right or you be all road rashy

Would take the craftsman riding mower through the woods like I was four wheelin, it was only 2 wheel drive and got stuck everywhere but in my mind I was like Bigfoot!

I was the one who mandated everyone wear safety glasses for the bb gun fights. The guy who got the crossman ruled. Others were intermediate and the red ryder was the scourge.

It was all my idea because if you were going "bang" with your hand, all the other kid would say is "you missed". But you KNEW you hit them with a bb, even if it was only the red ryder.

We even sharpened the lawn darts on dad's grinder in the garage.

Worst thing is that we didn't wash our hands every 10 minutes !
