Pffft. I went to the grocery and paid $8 for 18 eggs, $20 for a cheap steak, and paid twice what I paid last year for everything else.

I texted a few friends to have lunch. None of us talk anymore since two of our six man circle died suddenly, but I figured what the hey. Never heard back.

Checked the news on the way home. Three celebrities died suddenly.

Went home, called the electr8c company and had them push the bill back til next month.

All totally normal. Nothing to see here.

I produce much of my own food, have my own water supply, have multiple methods of producing electric power and heating my home. I haven't be idle and just watching my screen

But also, i’ve been saying over the past few years that “Thumbs are ruining the world.” i feel like the things we type with our thumbs (Twitter, Texts, Reddit, DMs; etc.) are akin to what we might verbally express in our daily lives (or the thoughts we won’t say out loud) but without the ebbs and flows of expression and sarcasm. It comes off cold, upsetting and without timing or empathy.

A virtual argument, could just as easily be a neutral or positive conversation.

Typing with a keyboard or typewriter is a different experience that produces a different content.

What do you propose that we do? Help the guards put out the fire? Sure... if you're a moron.

I'd rather have us all burn together, the guards and the prisoners, or... the guards opening the gates, and then they can have the whole prison just for themselves.

I wouldn't count on the latter, though.

Even if they wanted to (which they don't), they wouldn't know how to open those gates, anyway.

i will no longer contribute anything to this society. i will work a part time job, and do some extra things for money here and there. I wanted to have a big computer business but fuck em. i will not give this country an inch of my ideas. ill just go back to it being a hobby and help people out .
