In 1957 a certain Mr. R*****Feller 'mandated' that henceforth the musical note of A major's frequency was to be increased from 432hz (9), which happens to be our earth's natural resonance, to 440hz, an increase of 1.82% (11).

I doubt very much if this individual had a musical note in his head so the question is why would this be necessary given this mammoth undertaking. (rhetorical question)

Re: Before 1957 the music note A major was 432hz but was inexplicably changed.
That is not what happened at all.

8Hz difference between notes in the western music scale.

OP is talking about a semi-tone difference.

I will make it more plain, he is talking about the detuning Guns n Roses use as standard.
They tune to 432 as concert pitch. Can you all feel the healing in their music?

The real story is far worse.

Previous to the mass manufacturing of the large accordion (which was so loud you had to match it's tuning or it drowned out your instrument) musicals used many different and traditional music scales.

Different ways to divide the octave and many of the scales (which today are named alternative scales) were traditional going back thousands of years.

They have been lost along with the music they produced.

That is the real story.

Your story is what they wanted people to believe to conceal the real story.

The real story is they eradicated the old school scales going back to the start of music itself and today most people will have never heard of them or know there are other ways to tune your instrument and different musical sounds that can be produced when doinmg so..

OP is factually incorrect, it's not that A was established at 432 then changed to 440. The actual history is that A was never an established standard. A was whatever the performers, conductors etc preferred it to be. The standard was eventually set to 440 for the first time after WW2.
