Downing Street said Mr Sunak made the pledge during a call on Saturday morning with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. In a readout of the phone conversation, a No 10 spokeswoman said the Prime Minister offered Challenger 2 tanks and additional artillery systems as a sign of the UK’s “ambition to intensify our support to Ukraine”. Mr Zelensky thanked the UK on Twitter for making decisions that “will not only strengthen us on the battlefield, but also send the right signal to other partners”. UK holding hands with Neo Nazis in Ukraine still think they can take on Russia even though their mercenaries get blown to bits on the battlefield. It wouldn't surprise me if the Russians decide to nuke that little island in the North Sea as a warning because the fallout for Europe will be minimal. |
