I am shocked it took this long, had they co-opted folding at home 10 years ago, nobody would know the difference

this looks extremely distressing

folding at home is supposed to be open source and patent free computational drug discovery

the Wellcome Trust 10m donation was the first sign of this project being hijacked...


so long story short, the Wellcome Trust and UPenn now administer folding at home, the largest super computer in the world.

The COVID Moonshot has been working incredibly hard since it received a $11M grant from the Wellcome Trust to accelerate development of a new patent-free oral antiviral on behalf of the World Health Organization Access to COVID Tools (ACT-A) Accelerator program.
