Streaming vs. watching DVDs/Blueray Disks

just finished a addition for a fella, he upgraded his tv to a 8k 65: and gave me his 4k 65"

I'm switching to Blu-ray so they can't change the films or blacklist them with woke crap.

Physical Media is a wise choice for anyone smart enough to recognize the following facts:

1.) Streaming is vulnerable to bad internet connections, service disruptions, and total system failures, which happen frequently for those contracted to Cable Service Providers (who often dominate the market for rental properties).

2.) Streaming companies are altering and erasing films, shows, and other recorded events from public view.

3.) Streaming companies can erase your “purchased digital content” at any time due to legal, copyright, or other technical reasons.

4.) Streamed content provides mediocre sound and picture quality when compared to HD discs in Blu Ray / 4K Formats.

5.) Anyone “sailing the seven seas” for “free” digital content is at risk of the FBI finding and tracing your actions, which could lead to arrest and criminal prosecution.

yeah, not a fan of buying digital.

I have 3 copies of Blazing Saddles. 2 dvd and 1 blu ray. Just in case.

Gone with the Wind, too. A lot of important films from the 1930's have scenes with blackface that will be trashed like a Confederate statue.
