Historically, the Cuban Missile Crisis Has Been the Marker that Points to the Closest We Ever Came to Nuclear War
During the Cuban Missile Crisis the Doomsday clock was set to 2 Minutes to Midnight...

Today, they moved the clock from 100 seconds to 90 seconds.

We were already 20 seconds closer than the Cuban Crisis.

Now we are 30

Now we have President Joe Biden making strategic decisions
Overruling his own military staff

It's never a joke when powerful people present an idea, thing, or way.

It ALWAYS has meaning and purpose.

Unless god steps in to intervene, a nuclear war is inevitable and the only way to end the demons controlling nato and the west, especially the usa

Ummm, so? the title of your thread states that the CMC is the closest we’ve ever come to Nuclear war. Yet for my dollar, I’d say the time we had a (one sided) nuclear war was probably the closest we’ve ever come to Nuclear war? No? what am i missing? Do we not count things that happened before the 60s?
