A lot better than listening to Brother Stair on WWCR ramble on for hours while he rakes in the money.

He's out of prison ? He should have been fed into a wood chipper (he did something to a 12 year old girl)

I remember listening to him back in the late 90s

Pretty sure I have heard him VERY recently on faraway 50kw AM station at night.

Could be old canned sermons.

He passed away about two years ago, but his recorded shows live on, bouncing around the ether.

Re: Shortwave meditation with WWV
I wonder as the mish-mash of our history of radio and TV signals propogate through space, if it is even possible to separate and decode individual distinct transmissions.

At some distance, earth is a point, or single pixel as it were.

Frequency standards on defined wavelengths referenced to meters, maybe.

Random broadcasts of music may not be so easy.

Simple waveform detection of analog modulation, AM or FM is simple.

Analyzing the scan/retrace/interleaving/synchronous NTSC or any other TV image standard is going to be quite a challenge, as all signals would overwrite each other and make it difficult to separate anything distinctly, except maybe briefly as thrown off as "horizontal" low angle radiation at local daybreak/dusk.

Here's a signal still somewhere in space, that got caught and randomly saved.

I remember them. There was Hallicrafters also. There was a radio catalog place called lafayette. And then the granddaddy of all short wave radios....the Zenith Transoceanic.

And for whatever reason maybe 100 old pocket transistor radios I had picked up at yard sales over the years. Off to get some sleep now and then another exciting day.
