What are hopping to gain by such a small device

If you're looking for something to charge your phone with just get a folding solar/usb unit on ebay for like 20-25 bux. They put out like 2 amps. Forget the 300 dollar gimmick.

To keep your fridge running for 24hrs plus a few other small things you'll need on average 3 - 5kwh of backup and at least 1000w of solar (depending on where you are, the season, etc..) to keep it charged. My fridge alone uses about 1800wh per day. Add in a few lights, radio, small TV or other electronics, chargers, water pumps, etc ... it adds up quickly.
