Yes it's true. Most people are going through life believing lies and nonsense that clouds their judgment. You can't progress further in life if you already k ow everything.

i would counter by saying that it's your words and language that are the bricks with your belief/identity being the mortar.

Goal now is to transcend these rules by moving beyond the limits the institutions inacted.

That's not true. I have beliefs, and I respect others who may have beliefs different than mine. I think most people are the same as me.

lol seriously. very much true what this poster has said today. people are literally going from one belief box to another and are locking their minds up into these beliefs often not knowing until far later that it was a lie or deception or something was very off with it. sometimes, the only way TO the truth is actually going through a sea of lies. painful but occasionally it would appear to be necessary in a "reality" like this one. One we are born into essentially with a wiped mind. some of us start out thrown right into a belief system which we only begin to question later in life after a lot of pain usually but not always. sometimes it just happens naturally as we start observing and rightfully question things more.

Sounds like nothing more than a coping mechanism that works for you and the like minded, but I don't believe (hehe) that is the answer to clarity. You can't live life without believing, it's fundamental to all actions produced and words spoken.

people will cling irrationally to beliefs even when proven to be false because they NEED and PREFER the lie. This is what we are dealing with today with one group trying to force another group to beLIEve in their ever increasingly obvious LIES!

When offered proof of such contradictions, the "believer" will often fight off the one trying to get them to see the lie they believe! Like someone that is drowning will many times nearly drown the person trying to save them. They want to protect their version of what they consider reality even if it's harming them. the ignorance is bliss approach. which works for many until it doesn't anymore and it's time to pay the piper. ignorance always has a cost eventually. uncomfortable truths versus comfortable lies. we all engage in both knowingly and unknowingly throughout our lives.

Why is that? He isn't preaching anything against any religion. If someone never finds out about your bible and magic sky daddies do they still go to hell? You must be taught to believe such things.
