Body stuck on truck grill. *WARNING* Not for the faint of heart! I do not regret reversing decision to ride a bike. Motor bicyclists are too exposed and vulnerable. At least a car has a cabin to shield you in an accident. You have absolutely nothing but flesh and bones for protection. Not worth it. Quoting: Rev El Haitian Viewer discretion is advised. [link to worldstarhiphop.com (secure)] Sold mine last year after almost getting run over by a dump truck... and a host of other strange things that involved people texting while driving. Covid was really bad for motorcycle riders, as car drivers really stopped paying attention and caring about their actions. Overall, I rode for about 13 years, and never went down. The dump truck issue was all because a driver decided to turn around in a median, and cause all cars to come to a stop from 50 mph in a space increasing speed to 60... I was lucky he was able to stop, as I had nowhere to go, I got boxed in... I am usually really good about seeing potential dangers, and proactively avoiding them, or placing myself in a good position... this was a cluster fuck and I realized I didn't really want to die on a bike all that much. I did have a great time riding... so many exhilarating times. Condolences to all those that have lost loved ones on them. First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. ~ Mahatma Gandhi "Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—forever." ~ George Orwell "The exact level of tyranny that you're going to live under, is the level of tyranny you put up with." ~Thomas Jefferson "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent. ~ Thomas Jefferson |

Body stuck on truck grill. *WARNING* Not for the faint of heart! I don't think motorcycles are suitable for western countries, with the retarded SUV drivers and big trucks and highspeed motorways. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84799460 Compared to Asia where everyone rides a small motorcycle (say 125cc) so they are considerate to other riders, plus you don't often go over 40-50kph on them. https://imgur.com/a/4SIsKxK |
