my 08 civic was cheap, runs great, gets 40mpg. will likely just be oil changes and little stuff for the next 150k miles and not cost me a dime otherwise.

EVs are basically golf carts with a limited life span, people buy them to virtue signal or appear cool- most don't give a crap about the environment & all the coal that is burned to charge them...

They are highly inefficient for long distance travel, instead of filling up at a gas station for 2 mins, you need to wait for 2+ hours charging....

Lemme guess- you drive an American car and you live in a trailer. Japanese cars can go 300k miles before any major problem whereas American cars barely leave the dealer lot before roadside assistance is needed.
