There’s likely still an inventory of powdered egg and the shortages/price hikes of fresh eggs haven’t impacted that segment yet.

McDonalds and those other large chain restaurants do use fake imitation egg batter that they pour from boxes.

But the small old fashioned restaurants crack new natural fresh eggs when they cook breakfast.

There hasn't been any small restaurant that has increased their breakfast menu price.
