Anonymous Coward User ID: 407023 United States 04/13/2008 02:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The theory of evolution teaches that man evolved from an ancient, now extinct, species of ape. It teaches that each stage of evolution brings a higher level of intelligence. In other words, each stage supposedly makes life easier than before. The problem I have with this is, why in heavens name would any species discard a highly functionable “fur coat” for a bare naked unprotected skin? Makes absolutely no sense what so ever. From “growing” your own wardrobe to having to manufacture it, is going backwards, not forwards. When it comes to mankind, the theory of evolution is very much flawed. As for Creationism (the story of Adam & Eve)? It too is flawed. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 360803A fur coat in the Bahamas would not be practical. Nor would bare skin in Iceland. Evolution is a result of survival of the fittest (for the region in which the being makes its home). Today, in the age of frequent and fast travel, the evolved human needs a suitcase full of diverse clothing. LOL Still, if Man wants to survive in the fast-paced world travel mode, he must learn to adapt as best he can. And guess what? Man is adapting quite handily. Unless he can't! Then he dies. It's still survival of the fittest, it seems. Man uses accessories and outer garments to adapt, and this ability is all a part of INTELLIGENT evolution, which seems to be built-in. Man is created with this ability. Creation and evolution do not have to be in opposition, I say. |

It brings a higher level of reproductive success. Have you looked into possible explanations for relatively hairless mammals? |
