The pit is not opening, it has yet to be filled with the Locust. That has yet to be fulfilled at the "harvest of the tares". An event that is also future. Many things need to be included in a chronological order of events, and spiritual conditions meet before these things can come to pass. To begin with,there are signs yet to be unveiled before the pit is opened.The Bible tells us that in those days,men will be lovers of pleasures and money.That the price of a loaf of bread will be 20 dollars.That signs will appear in the heavens and on earth.Wars and rumors of wars.World wide weather related catastrophes unlike anything ever seen before.But the thing that needs to be fulfilled first and foremost,is the disclosing of the Anti-Christ.The Anti-Christ will begin the downfall of man.He will come as a messiah exhibiting what will seem to us to magical powers.He will end the wars,cure the planets problems.Become so great in the eyes of all mankind that he will be given rule over the entire earth!
