All they needed to do is shoot the balloon with bullets but the missile hit the package and destroyed most of the intelligence that could have been gained on recovery. Joe is a fucking traitor and so is his General. When Trump is President again he needs to have Milley arrested striped of his rank and jailed for treason that he admitted too. To be fair "small" bullet holes would not have worked. The pressure inside and outside the balloon is virtually identical, so very little helium/hydrogen would escape over time. An exploding missile was the right choice but they should have hit the top of the balloon so the remnants of the balloon would act as a parachute/drag to slow the descent of the payload. The question is was this intentional or just poor aiming? |
