Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 85210426 02/05/2023 08:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thanks!! I made this entire track using an app on my Samsung S6 called Caustic. $10 bucks on the playstore. I used the synths on that and one small synth note sample from a sample pack I got for free from Black Octopus. |

St Tidbits the Odd User ID: 77547432 Canada 02/05/2023 08:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am probably the best advice you'll get on here since I gave played electronic music all over the world. It's mediocre at best. No DJ I know would bother playing it. That said ff you haven't been doing this for awhile keep up because it's not horrible garbage like most the stuff coming from unknowns is. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84626080 It sounds too loopish like you didn't do much production and just threw some stuff together and copy and pasted it for 5 minutes. The structure isn't there to dj the track and it's not interesting enough with builds and drops to keep a dance floor going. Work on focusing on those things. That's what makes GLP the best... Soulless fake humans are already AI. They get triggered by particular words, symbols etc. They can't really bother about the meaning. They just look for the trigger words. Their language & comprehension skills are 0. Some bots have bods, others don't. Cara Is Spirit |

Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 85210426 02/05/2023 08:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Love it .. it Reminds me of 80 techno but in my humble opinion there is not enough changes...it kinda drags on... sorry, I seriously hate criticizing but you did ask. If you had more change up and less lag it would be epic... Quoting: MonkeyWrangler Thanks for listening and getting back to me with your thoughts on it! With what you said in mind I think I do a shorter edit as an option for someone that wants a tighter version. Good stuff. :) |

Quoting: Bleepsandbloops 85210426 [link to imrsv1.bandcamp.com (secure)] Thanks! :) pretty solid.. I say this as someone who lived in Detroit proper from the mid to late 90's through to 06. .definitely could fit in nicely with a lot of different dj styles. It's got that beat you can work in and out of for a good 20 minutes to build on. Do you just do tracks or do you have full sets? been trying to find different coding music. Most of what people list as "coding" or "hacking" is just trance, but way too slow and for some reason they feel the need to throw a track with vocals in it and take you out of the flow entirely. 3sloth3 |

Sweet! Detroit OG in the house! That awesome bro. I grew up on Detroit techno. Love it. Thanks for checking out my track and getting back to me about it! That was very insightful about how its the type of beat you can work for a long time. I remember dj's doing that back in the day too. Awesome to hear you say it would work well with many styles too. I'm focusing on individual tracks right now. I feel like you might enjoy the tech trance genre for your coding flowstates. Here's a mix to try: [link to youtu.be (secure)] |

Quoting: Bleepsandbloops 85210426 [link to imrsv1.bandcamp.com (secure)] Thanks! :) Sounds cool . I write and record my own music as well . Everything from electronic to stripped down acoustic guitar songs .. Mind if I ask what you used on this track ? For example I record most my stuff on GarageBand and the rest on an old version of acid pro. I’m really into any iOS apps that make music .Koala for example is an awesome sampler .I’m always on the lookout for any other iOS beat making / synth / samplers etc that I might not be aware of ….once again sounds real good and thanks in advance if you have any suggestions ! Thank you! I use an app called Caustic on my Android phone. I think its available on iOS too for like 10 bucks. Of course for Apple you can't go wrong with Logic Pro or Ableton. Koala is fire tho fr. :) |

This has been my go-to for coding lately: [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] In particular at that timestamp, but this guy has some great long mixes, all with artist, song title, and timestamp. This is not my typical music so it's nice to break out of patterns. I'm just glad I'm no longer tripping over my own pant legs anymore. 3sloth3 |

Quoting: Bleepsandbloops 85210426 [link to imrsv1.bandcamp.com (secure)] Thanks! :) We have the same Sony headphones that are forever discontinued! I actually went through the progressive trance scene from the 90s through the millennium. You have some great bones here. I think I wanna hear more layering and atmosphere in the beginning. I didn't hear a lot of transition fills so perhaps that's an area to spice up as well. Sounds good man. I would drop your track at my club if I was the DJ. |
