Only about 5 or 6 of them. 3 family members and only I (female) eat eggs due to eggs being responsible for prostate cancer in men. The men in my family won't eat eggs due to prostrate cancer concerns. But we do use eggs in pies. We don't make many pies.

Males chicks have straight baby wing feathers. Female chicks have a brush at the end of the baby wing feathers.

Warning: I bought baby Rhode Island Red hens and they never laid one egg for me? I was doing something wrong.

Yep and when it does go sideways, they that didn’t prepare will come running. They were too busy vacationing and going out to bother with a garden and having hens and raising meat. Laughing at us farmers and homesteaders.
