High speed passenger trains on separate tracks from freight trains.

Rail was cheap. Anyone could travel all over the country for cheap anytime they wanted. No permits, licenses, or bank loans required.

NZ has rail. Before covid, anyone, even kids and old people could travel to the city and spend the day for a couple of bucks in train fare.

Spend spent spend on rubbish ideas when the right way was in our laps the whole time.

Trains + AI and automation, along with good city planning could do wonders for traffic, logistics, and the planet.

Asian countries are into high speed rail. I've taken trains all over Japan. It's clean, safe, and fast.

The difference is that the passengers are Asians, not ghetto blacks. It just wouldn't work well in the U.S.
