Occupied Palestinian Territory [link to www.ohchr.org (secure)] Doesn't really matter what the name is anymore. That entire geographical area is about to collapse into the sea. Or, to put it another way, the Mediterranean Sea is about to lengthen in an easterly direction. Last Edited by Michael Winner on 02/07/2023 05:41 PM |

Their findings will help show how tectonic-plate motion deforms continental crust and will improve understanding of earthquake hazards and natural resources along the fault. Like California’s San Andreas fault, the Dead Sea fault is a transform plate boundary, along which two tectonic plates slide past one another. It separates the Arabia plate from the Africa plate (see map). The fault’s path through Israel is marked by a valley approximately 20 kilometers (12 miles) wide, underlain in places by deep subsurface sedimentary basins, giving rise to the name “Dead Sea Rift.” |

Quoting: Michael Winner Get Ready For A Geological Cataclysm Turkey and the solid rock hook in the waters below Turkey share the same rock mass, which resists being pulled apart. To the west there are the crumbled platelets of Greece, the result of numerous Africa Rolls in the past. The border of the Africa Plate through the center of the Mediterranean will readily slip and slide, but this alone does not allow the Africa Plate to drop. The fault line that runs down the Dead Sea is today the border between the Saudi Plate and the Africa Plate, but as a result of the rock hook under Turkey snapping off, Israel’s status will change. The result will be the Sinai Peninsula pulling away from the African Plate to be centered between Egypt and Israel, and to be considered an island. We have stated that much trauma will occur in Israel and Syria as a result of the Turkey hook snap. The old boundaries will not release their grip readily. Though the rock hook snap points have been releasing their grip steadily, in the manner that silent stretch separations do, there will be scraping and vibration and tsunami evidence of underwater adjustments. Then Africa will suddenly go on the move, waggling the Saudi Plate and triggering the New Madrid finale. -- This COULD BE what Kissinger was talking about in 2012 (he was off by a couple of month's) and the reason for the Big Rush to recolonize Ukraine. This reminded me of something I read in the bible, they did find it had happened in recent archeology digs. The earthquake is mentioned twice in the Hebrew Bible, first in Amos 1:1, which says that Amos began prophesying two years before the earthquake occurred. The quake is also referenced in Zechariah 14:5, where Zechariah compares the devastation wrought by the approaching end of days to the earthquake that shook Judah during the reign of King Uzziah. Given that Zechariah lived two centuries after Amos, the earthquake must have been extreme enough to leave a lasting impression on the Judean consciousness. Indeed, the IAA excavators believe it was “probably one of the strongest and most damaging earthquakes in ancient times.” Evidence for this powerful eighth-century B.C.E. earthquake has now been discovered in several sites across modern Israel, including Hazor, Gezer, Tel Agol, and Tell es-Safi. The Jerusalem excavation, however, provides the first evidence that the quake impacted the Judean hill country as well. I can be helpful to read about older earthquakes. [link to www.biblicalarchaeology.org (secure)] There's another couple of quakes in Revelation. Revelation 11:13 KJV & Revelation 16:16-19, KJV The Dead Sea fault line is part of the Great Rift Valley which runs from Mozambique to Baalbek in Lebanon 4,300 miles about 7,000 km. It is slowly widening as the two sides of the valley move further apart. So picture in your mind a series of quakes running south along that 4,300 mile fault line. |
