SwNH as well. I’ll be at the farm this weekend to pick a pig. 60 pigs and a few hundred chickens - I’ll update if anything is out of the norm.

Mid southern NH here (next to Nashua). We have chickens and also an herb/flower farm and I'm wondering if they'll be affected. Will keep an eye out.

Ok, Lake Winni here. Rain is over for now. No smell, my black car has no strange marks from the rain. Its cold and damp out. So far all is well. Im running home to check on the chickens. Will post more soon. The crows seem to be doing ok . BRBhf

Im back with nothing unsusal to report. All is good. Ive talked with a big farmer here who had nothing unusual to report. A few random gusts of wind and some blackish clouds though. Everybodys good right now. =)

So, nothing unusual here either. No more smell, rain stopped, it’s getting colder, birds still okay. Barring any unknown long term health doom, I think we’re going to be okay. Didn’t make it to the river to check for dead fish or oily stuff but that probably wouldn’t be noticeable for a couple days anyway.
They’re all dead. They just don’t know it yet.

My chickens are fine. I didn't notice anything out of the usual - only that it was a miserably gray day. Cloudy, drizzly and I want it to be spring.

My chickens were their perfect little selves when I got home. It got chilly and even though it hasn’t been a horrific New Hampshire winter I’m still sick of it and want spring too.
Glad everyone seems okay. This was fun although nerve wracking because of the subject. Everyone one here was so nice today. I wonder what came out of the water specimen study from our friend in Maine…

Wow Many more granite staters on glp than I thought that there would be.
Mid west NH (Lebanon) and we just had thunder and a pretty short but hard thunder shower. It is over now but it has been wet and drippy since roughly 8 pm last night.
Have NOT noticed any smell when I was caught outside during the downpour (dropped off daughter in wheelchair at school - late as per usual) BUT I have also been mildly congested past few days.

Good thread OP.

Yeah no kidding, is GLP New Hampshire only??

I wonder if we all know each other lol. I'm in Hollis which has a lot of farms but I'll be afraid to eat local this year.
 Quoting: 88

Hollis is a great farming town and I love visiting all the farms there.

NH in general feels like a small town. I've run into horse faced Maggie Hassan a few times (bus station in Londonderry, at a Market Basket, and in my town). I ran into Adam Sandler and his kids. Seth Meyers mom does 'meals on wheels' over in Bedford. My friend went to high school with Sarah Silverman. Everyone runs into the politicians during the primaries. It's a small state so we're bound to run into one another. I've met several GLPers here in NH, most don't disclose their handle (myself included) and a few others are happy to share their identity.

Re: Real Life Toxin Updates From NH
Just wanted to update that at this time all the chickens and ducks seem to be perfectly fine after being out in yesterday’s rain. I personally haven’t experienced any funkiness. So short term doom is off. If the birds do all keel over in the near future, I’ll post it here. But it looks like if any doom came to this area from the train explosion, it’ll be long drawn out doom.

Too late. NH, VT, NY, PA, QC, you're already walking cancer patients.

You got maybe 2 weeks left to live.

You said that about the vax 2 years ago, still here!
