the first comment on that article pretty much sums up what could be happening.
The shrewd, ruthless one is Soros. He recognizes that a party united behind DeSantis or Trump would slaughter Biden, hence he praises DeSantis to get reactions like this and split the opposition. Soros has no use for DeSantis, and less for Trump. He is sowing seeds of division — and judging by the reactions I see, he’s hitting the jackpot.
