Lol Well the way they will do it is to take the people that are "selected" to be on the ships to a building somewhere, probably on a military base maybe. They will say the ship is right around the corner....then bam! Just like in Goodfellas when they said they were going to make Tommy a made man! As for what they show the rest of us, it will just be CGI stuff on TV. If they ever have to fake a "ship" in real life, they could probably just dress up a balloon really fancy. Cheap and good enough to fool most everyone. They would release it and "ooo look at it hover" and then it will go out of sight into the sky. Good enough. The chilling thing is about AI technology and deep fakes. They could put up a website with deep fake AI video that is now good enough to chat in real time.
