I am very anti-"vax", but if I had to choose between vaccinated blood or sure death, I'd take the blood. At least it buys you some time and maybe you'll luck out. Maybe it won't be vaccinated blood, or maybe it will but you'll be the type that can withstand it.

Both choices are bad, but one might buy you some time. And there is also a regimen you can do to lessen the effects if you get the bad blood.
