It may be the first approved, but it is not the first. Previous attempts of an RSV vax resulted in deaths during trials. They have tried many times to make one.

RSV sucks, but it is not deadly, just very annoying.

Covid vaccine seemed to save you and your family from Covid. RSV vaccine is a good opportunity for your family. Once you get the RSV shot, you will not have to worry about the family contracting RSV again. Sorry your family suffered through 3 bouts of RSV. Try eating healthier. Take care.
