During his testimony, Dr. Marty Makary made a startling claim about the origins of the COVID-19 virus. He stated that two leading virologists, Michael Farzan from the Scripps Research Institute and Robert Garry from Tulane University, had informed Dr. Anthony Fauci that COVID-19 was likely released from a lab in Wuhan.
